Job purpose

  • In charge of the Overall Local Sales activity for the Branch. Create and drive a business plan strategy for the branch that successfully meets the company goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Establish Parameters with Performance levels for individual team members and to monitor them to attain the set standards
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales team.
  • Responsible for securing new customers, maintaining and developing accounts.
  • Drive customer selling for both Inbound and Outbound market.
  • Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Achieve sales team KPI and KRA per company policy.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Background and experience

  • Graduate/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Development role in International Freight Industry
  • Should have good knowledge of All products – Air / Ocean
  • Experience working within a high-growth multi-cultural environment.

  • Ability to lead and manage team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with ability to work across different departments and regions.
  • Highly motivated by challenges and ability to set and achieve ambitious career goals.
  • Good knowledge of IT system and Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Good understanding of Sales operation, markets and trends.
  • Hindi & English language proficiency
