Job purpose
- In charge of the Overall Local Sales activity for the Branch. Create and drive a business plan strategy for the branch that successfully meets the company goals.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Establish Parameters with Performance levels for individual team members and to monitor them to attain the set standards
- Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales team.
- Responsible for securing new customers, maintaining and developing accounts.
- Drive customer selling for both Inbound and Outbound market.
- Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Achieve sales team KPI and KRA per company policy.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Background and experience
- Graduate/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development role in International Freight Industry
- Should have good knowledge of All products – Air / Ocean
- Experience working within a high-growth multi-cultural environment.
Competencies and skills
- Ability to lead and manage team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with ability to work across different departments and regions.
- Highly motivated by challenges and ability to set and achieve ambitious career goals.
- Good knowledge of IT system and Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Good understanding of Sales operation, markets and trends.
- Kannada & English language proficiency
