Sales Executive – WeFreight America

Job purpose

Researching prospects and establishing new business. Demonstrates and presents our services to local customers and rest of the network when needed. Responsible to maintain accurate and updated info in all Sales platforms. Generates Sales leads to other countries. Contacts customers by phone, email, video calls or face to face. Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints. Ensures all sales and services are provided to customers with high level of quality at the right cost, with the best profitability to the organization. Reviews and presents sales performance results according to the company goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Have a Hunter DNA & Focus to ensure new customers landing
  • Negotiate agreements, quotations and sales always looking for the best profit for the organization.
  • Follow up on sales proposals to customers until business is won and ensure best service quality is met
  • Maintain and grow existing customer’s base.
  • Develop push pull efforts with other offices to ensure new business opportunities.

Background and experience

  • Proven experience on selling Freight Forwarder Services, deep knowledge on the Freight Forwarding Industry.
  • Experience in transportation of General Cargo, break bulk, Hazmat & Industrial Projects in all modalities. Knowledge of the Mexican Market and main industries. Used to report and populate all type or Sales Reports and CRM system.

  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Presentation skills when under pressure and tight work deadlines
  • Interest in freight forwarding and supply chain management and its impact on daily business practices.
  • Skilled at working in tandem, with a team of people, or alone as required.
