Inside Sales Executive – WeFreight South Korea

Job purpose

Make sales strategy and collaborate with field sales business development / operation / vendor / finance to develop the existing and new business.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Indoor Sales Development

  • RFI / RFP/ RFQ: Coordinate each product team (Air and Ocean)
  • Business Development: Local Spot Quotation
  • Routing Order to local for secured spot shipment
  • Coordinate marketing and pricing opportunities in relation to bid opportunities
  • Ensure accurate compilation and reporting of operational and financial information about the customers
  • Constant communication with new customers, customer support and the operations departments about relevant company policies, departmental and customer expectations
  • Ensure all customer visits, opportunities and any other customer information are updated with the requirements and expectations on CRM
  • Dedicated customer service for country-controlled sales channel accounts and network-controlled sales channel accounts
  • Assistance for Monthly Performance Sales Report
  • Follow up routing orders and manage both new and existing accounts
  • Support for Tender management: Prepare Tender (Air and Ocean) for Local & Global RFI, RFQ
  • Implementation and Spot Quote
  • Maintenance of CRM data and reporting
  • SOP Set-up for new accounts (Air in & out and Ocean in & out)
  • Irregular cargo follow-up
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Clarify and Resolve client claims with all parties involved
  • Active follow-up and prompt support for global team’s requests
  • Prepare and assemble all documentation necessary for transporting and handling of shipments and full support for general daily tasks of all sales team member
  • Identify new business opportunities in accordance to company direction and strategy including but not limit to Trade Lane, Inbound, outbound for Integrated Logistics businesses; prepare business development plan and carry out systematic prospecting

Background and experience

  • Over 1 years – Int’l Freight Forwarding experience within Global Supply Chain Logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of Int’l air freight operation and its movement, trade lanes, terminal, pricing, customs and immigration activities and procedures, and necessary legal requirements.
  • Knowledge of ocean FCL container, LCL consol service and its movement, trade lanes, seaport, terminal, CFS & CY, pricing, customs and immigration activities and procedures, and necessary legal requirements.
  • Coordinate each product team both Air and Ocean for local tender.
  • Field sales support for local business development by customer relationship improvement.
