Job purpose
- To drive pricing and procurement to win profitable business for Thailand and network.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Design and implement a strategic procurement plan that expands company’s customer base, customer satisfaction, profitable growth
- Negotiate with carriers/liners about price of Air/FCL/LCL, space, and maintain good relationship
- Work closely with internal & external customers to provide solutions for Sales, Business Development and customers
- Coordinate with oversea agent, liners for the smooth process and win business
- Control and manage all RFQs
- Build good working relation, negotiate & close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Resolve all problems about pricing (Customer target price with service levels) in order to support customer with customer satisfaction and maximize profit.
- To compare and offer best solution to serve the best way to customer.
- Maintain and follow company rules, regulations and Health, Safety and Environmental Standard including Thai law and regulations
- Others responsibilities as assigned by line manager and company requirement
- Profitably winning tenders and spot inquire for all products (Prepaid/Collect)
- Effective cost control to improve GP

Background and experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of freight forwarding experience
- Bachelor degree with prior min 3-5 years of procurement (Air/ Sea/ Road/ Cross border/ Pricing/ Customs etc) experience in freight forwarding
- Knowledge of freight forwarder, suppliers, carriers, oversea network with excellent win-win pricing negotiation skill
- Self-starter, highly energetic and result oriented to close the deal with sales
Competencies and skills
- Communicate with carriers (Air/Sea/Truck), coleaders and other stake holders to ensure high levels of service, safety and compliance are adhered and achieve the most efficient cost, space etc.
- Internal communication and collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and other stakeholders.
- Act agile, take responsibilities of the results, having sense of urgency to act.
